It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Just a reminder to all our guild members!


December 14, 2015 is our annual end of the year Christmas Celebration! 

Our Christmas Celebration will be at our regular location at The First Christian Church 901 N. Henrietta Effingham, IL. and will begin at 6:30pm

Everyone is asked to bring along a little something to share: If you last name begins with letter A – G please bring a appetizer, if your name begins with the letter F – R please bring a desert, and if your name begins with the letter S-K please bring a salad (green salads, chicken salads, you get the ideal!)

December also is the time for our annual White Elephant sale! If you have any new or gently used items you wold like to donate to the silent auction please bring the with you to the party. Any type of item will work, quilting items, crafty items, books, magazines, decorations, and so on. This years auction funds will go to purchase more fabrics and batting for our charity quilting endeavors, so bring along your checkbooks ladies!

We will also be playing Fabric Strip Bingo so be sure to bring along at least twelve strips of fabric that are 2.5o”  by the width of your fabric (42″ give or take a bit!) We will play no less than 8 games and no more than twelve (time is a factor!) If you would like to play more than one bingo card per game be sure to bring extra fabric strips!

A small gift exchange will also be taking place. If you would like to participate please bring along a small gift in the price range of $10.00 to $15.00.

And finally our 2015 Secret Sisters will be revealed! If you took part in this years Secret Sister program be sure to bring along a final gift for the reveal!

P.S. – there is NO meeting in January 2016! Meetings will start back up in February 2016. A list of who is to bring refreshments, programs, and upcoming classes will be posted after the Christmas season.
