2012 Challenge!

Here is all the info for this years guild challenge! Remember that the Challenge Quilts are to be on display during the

2012 Crossroads Harvest of Quilts show and they will be judged! Only paid members of the Crossroads Quilters Guild can enter a quilt in this category! 

Paint Chip Quilt

Crossroads Quilters 2012 Guild Challenge!!

- Each Guild Member willing to participate must select a envelop at a regular guild night meeting (avalable starting in January 2012)

- YOU CAN NOT EXCHANGE WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR! You get the colors you get , sorry girls that why its a challenge!

- Upon opening your envelope remove the paint chips, immediately wright your name on the back of one of the chips,   return it to your envelop and pass it back to Beth. This chip will be used at the quilt show so everyone attending can see the colors you had to make your quilt with. The second paint chip is for you to use to pick your fabrics for the challenge.

- Quilts need to be finished in time to display at the 2012 Crossroads Harvest of Quilts show in September 2012.

- It MUST BE A FINISHED QUILT!

- quilts can be no more than 200 inches around the diameter. for example: a 40×60 quilt equals 200 inches  (40+40+60+60=200)

- Quilts must be at least 75% of one (1) or more of your selected paint chip color(s)

- You can only add fabric in the colors of, Solid White, White on White, Solid Black, Black & White Print, and/or Solid Grey. NO OTHER COLORS CAN BE ADDED!

- Any pattern can be used, a purchased pattern, a free pattern, or design your own!
